Here is the format for each of the ride descriptions:
Description: This is a fairly high level set of directions for the ride. Some are very simple such as "go east up the mountain" where others include street names and intersections. The interactive maps provide much greater detail.
Comments: We ride these routes ourselves and our comments are included.
Distance: Usually this distance is from start to finish. In the case of climbs, it's one way.
GPS track logs: Each ride profiled here includes a track log. They have each had their number of track points reduced for quicker loading into the Google map. See more information about GPS track logs here.
Total elevation gain: This is the total uphill distance over the course of the ride.
Elevation profile: A graph of elevation versus distance. This is an export from TopoFusion.
Interactive route map: This is a fully interactive Google map with the track log overlayed on it. If you've never used a Google map, you can pan and zoom around as you'd like. The default view I've selected is the hybrid view. You can also change the view to be road map or satellite only. The track log is displayed as a colored line which reflects the relative elevation. The legend shows the progression of colors with blue as the lowest point and red as the highest.
